I have a Dell Studio laptop with Windows 10 installed. Everything is working except this last Fingerprint issue. From what I’ve read by searching on Google, the following driver is supposed to get it working again, and I’ve installed it:. The driver and device appears to work. It asks me to swipe my finger a few times and appears to accept it.

So the fingerprint reader is obviously working. It says that next time I want to access my device, the fingerprint option should be available during startup. I restarted my computer, expecting to see a fingerprint sign-in option along with password and PIN options. However, the fingerprint option is not available. How do I fix this? This thread is locked. Unfortunately, the problem still persists. Fingerprint login option does not appear after startup. Did Hello ever work on that older PC? The reason I ask you to do this is because no one of millions who have followed the install in that link have ever come back to report problems that I have seen.
